Chris Bennett is one of the very best comedians you will ever see. His extremely fast wit and hilarious audience interaction is second to none. Chris thrills audiences all over the country with his ability to have any crowd roaring with laughter in only moments. His television credits include several performances on live national television such as ‘Hey, Hey it’s Saturday’, ‘In Melbourne tonight’ and ‘Russell Gilbert Live’. Chris has also performed and written on numerous other commercial television programs. Chris is currently working on a variety of projects including commercial radio pilots and new television shows. More recently Chris has become a regular cast member of “The Cage” on Triple M.

Terry North is regarded as one of Australia’s best imported comic hosts. 

With a comic career that started in the UK writing sketches for Hale & Pace and The Russ Abbott show, as well as performing in many comedy plays and pantomimes.

Terry North hit the Australian comedy scene when he settled in Melbourne in 1996. Beginning at the legendary Esplanade Hotel in St Kilda, Terry went on to the national Final of the JJJ Raw Comedy Competition in 2001.

 

Rich Ceisler began a career in stand up during the 80’s. For the last 20 years he has been pursuing that, and headlining all the top comedy clubs here and abroad including:

Michael Chamberlin is a Melbourne-based stand up comedian. He presented his first full length festival show I Am The King of the Divan in 2004 as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. He appeared in the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 2005 with his show There’s A Party At Stefan Edberg’s Place, and in 2006 with Michael Chamberlin & the Ten Commandments

Michael was also a core cast member and writer for the Australian sketch comedy television show skitHOUSE from 2003 – 2004. He has also written for television shows Rove Live, Backberner and Comedy Inc.

 

Dave O’Neil is a regular on ABC TV’s Spicks and Specks and has appeared on Channel 10’s The Panel, Rove Live and Australia’s Brainiest Comedian. He was also part of Channel 9’s 2005 World Comedy Tour and Channel 10’s Comedy Festival Gala in addition to guest appearances on many other TV entertainment shows. 

 

Adam Rozenbachs – stand up comedian, writer, broadcaster and ventriloquist disliker – has steadily become one of Australia’s funniest and most consistent performers, writers and broadcasters. 

 

Dave Callan is easily the hairiest comedian in Australia; Dave Callan is a versatile and highly entertaining comedian, writer and performer. Dave now hosts his own show on Triple J. 

 

Matt Elsbury has been seen on the ABC and the Comedy Channel, heard on the Austereo network nationally, and read in Beat Magazine, Matt’s incisive views on music, the news, popular culture, sport and life in general have been described as “intelligent, engaging, and very bloody funny” (RRR FM).  

Damian Callinan Former drama teacher turned stand up and character comedian Damian was one of the stars of the TV sketch show Skithouse a regular on Australian Rules football comedy Before The Game. Not to mention his TV appearances on such shows as Rove Live, Melbourne Comedy Festival Gala, Joker Poker, Good Morning Australia, The Fat, Off Road and countless others. 

 

Lawrence Mooney  

In recent times, Lawrence has been seen on television as Presenter for Nine Network’s Postcards, Summer in the City (2006) and Secrets of the City (2005), along with guest appearances/ performances on Rove (live), The Glasshouse, GMA, The Panel and The Comedy Channel’s Hit & Run, The Big Schmooze and Off Road series. He was one of three Australians to make it through to the semi-finals in Los Angeles for Last Comic Standing (2007),NBC on Foxtel Australia.

 

Bev Killick  

Bev’s voice is scraped hoarse by years of hard living which brings character and depth to classic Broadway tunes, as well as a wonderful sense of fragility and vulnerability to her aggressive and very funny bad girl raves. Currently starring in busting out.

 

Brad Oakes  

Brad works very hard to make every gig a winner. Brad’s ‘get amongst it’ approach can give the false impression that you’re involved in a conversation, but there is always a punch line looming, ready to slug you right between the eyes. An exceptional talent.

 

Bruno Lucia  

This multi faced, multi cultural, multi media performer is an actor, writer, musician, stand up comedian and corporate entertainer who is best known for his work in Channel Nine’s most successful hit sit com “All Together Now”.

 

Christine Basil  

As an accomplished comedienne and writer, Christine has been working regularly on the stand-up circuit for close to 10 years. She has starred and supported many of the major visiting international acts including Amazing Jonathon, David Strassman and Mark Curry.

 

Doug Chappel  

Doug Chappel has been making audiences laugh for many years now. His comedy has been heard on commercial radio and he is also responsible for writing, directing and producing numerous shows for theatre restaurants, festivals and television. Doug is an actor with roles in Australian dramas, top 10 music video clips and many commercials.

 

Drew Rokos  

Winner of the 2000, Channel 4 and Edinburgh International Comedy Festival’s “So you think You’re Funny” competition. This is also held once a year during the Edinburgh Festival to find the best new comedian in the UK. He is the only Australian to have ever made the final, let alone win it.

 

 

Hung Le  

Hung Le is a violinist, comedian, actor, novelist and playwright. He has appeared in comedy festivals in Australia and overseas, including his first solo show Now and Zen at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival which he toured in Sydney, Edinburgh, Hong Kong and New York.

 

Justin Hamilton  

If Rodney Rude and Susan Sontag had produced a child, tossed him into a day-care centre managed by Philip Adams and then placed him at a school with Anna Nicole Smith on lunch lady duty, the result might resemble Justin Hamilton.

 

Pommy Johnson 

Colin “Pommy” Johnson is a live-wire stand-up comedian who has toured extensively. His act is versatile and well suited to a wide cross section of audiences and situations. He performs regularly on campuses, at social functions, sporting clubs, corporate events and product launches. In 1993 he worked the comedy circuit in London and regularly tours all over Australia performing at a wide range of venues including ski resorts such as Perisher Valley and Falls Creek.
